Simone Kealy is a recent graduate of a Master of International Relations from the University of Melbourne. During her Master’s, she completed a thesis that examined World Bank colonial legacies within environmental imaginaries about Egypt. She is passionate about the environment, climate change and the intersections with international organisations and security. She previously volunteered as a copywriter for Beyond Zero Emissions, a think tank that aims to transition Australia into a zero-emissions economy. In a previous life, Simone was a Digital Media Producer at News Corp, and studied journalism and politics within a Bachelor of Arts at Monash University. In her spare time, she loves reading, travelling and being in nature.
