Natasha Stevens, Website Design Officer

Natasha is a 2025 New Colombo Plan Scholar and soon-to-be graduate of Murdoch University, completing a double degree in Criminology and Global Security with majors in Criminal Behaviour and Terrorism & Counterterrorism Studies. She has worked and volunteered across legal, research, and international sectors, focusing on international security, criminal investigations, and regional cooperation in the Indo-Pacific. Natasha has taken part in international security dialogues and criminal cold-case review programs, including the U.S.–Australia Emerging Leaders Workshop and AMBER Alert Europe’s ICCAP program. Currently completing her final semester at Universitas Gadjah Mada, she brings a strong interest in security policy, crisis management, and deradicalisation initiatives aimed at fostering community resilience.

Emma Gerhardy, Communications Officer

Emma Gerhardy is a former police officer and the Lead Program Officer for the Inclusion Support Program, South Australia’s countering violent extremism intervention program, working across programs, policy, training, and community engagement. She is also a PhD candidate at Adelaide University, where her research examines coercive online violent extremism, including how online manipulation, grooming, and exploitation draw vulnerable people into extremist-adjacent harm. Her work sits at the intersection of national security, gender-based violence, and prevention-focused responses. challenging traditional security frameworks to better reflect lived harm.

Megan Allis, Membership Officer

Megan is an early-career international relations professional with a strong interest in advancing women’s participation in Indo-Pacific security, diplomacy and climate action. She has completed a Masters of International Relations at the University of Melbourne and undertaken academic and professional experiences focused on Korea and regional security, including completing an exchange program at Korea University and being a participant of Korea Foundation’s Public Diplomacy Camp. Megan brings strong organisational and membership-management experience through leadership roles in women-majority student organisations and currently contributes to engagement and membership initiatives through her internship with the Young Professionals Events Team at the Australian Institute of International Affairs Victoria. She is passionate about supporting inclusive professional communities and strengthening pathways for women in defence, peace, and security.
